There are three reasons most of us tune into the Oscars: to see who wins, of course; to see what everyone’s wearing; and to see if there’s any goss. And by “goss,” I mostly just mean which couples showed up, who looked the most stylish and if there was any wild PDA or interesting convos to lip read (celebs are usually pretty buttoned up, except for when they’re on a yacht, for some reason).
At the 2025 Oscars, it seemed, love was in the air, with couples showing up in full force on the red carpet and at the ceremony and after parties. Many winners used their speeches to thank their significant others, from best actor winner Adrien Brody shouting out partner Georgina Chapman (who “invigorated his sense of self worth”), to best actor in a supporting role winner Kieran Culkin, who paid tribute to his wife Jazz Charton, and not for the first time (we love a Wife Guy).
And then there were the couples we don’t usually get to see a whole lot of, like Miley Cyrus and drummer boyfriend of four years Maxx Morando, plus the couples we just can’t get enough of, like Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.
