Elsewhere this week in celebrity beauty, Jennie and Doechii dropped the video for “ExtraL”–it’s the third single released from Jennie’s forthcoming record Ruby, and like all of her visuals, features a host of looks: “XL” grills, hair jewels, tight braids. But the beauty focal point was the duo’s twinned scarlet talons. Manicures definitely ran the gamut of shapes and vibes this week: Laufey tried her hand at the naked manicure trend (a bare-nailed look approved by the likes of Anya Taylor-Joy and Selena Gomez), while Irina Shayk repped Brazil with one singular flag-emblazoned nail—“come to Brazil!” her digit beckons.
One celebrity hair transformation we’ve been keeping an eye on is that of Daisy Edgar-Jones. Free from the look imposed on her for her previous project, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, hairstylist Cervando Maldonado has crafted bangs worthy of being pinned beside fringe-inspo from Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot. She took them out for a spin on the front row of Gucci’s show at Milan Fashion Week. Milano also saw Prada’s Fall 2025 show take place, where frizz and flyaways took center stage. Otherwise in the world of hair, model Leomie Anderson took her lengths to glossy extremes, and Derry Girls and The Decameron actor Saoirse-Monica Jackson went brunette. For Rico Nasty, extreme was the name of the game, with some needlepoint glam by way of her acupuncturist.
