Only Bella Hadid could make a piece of status vintage look so natural. Ahead of the Saint Laurent fall 2025 show in Paris, Hadid left her hotel in a Vivienne Westwood waistcoat older than her.
The model wore a gray vest with light blue pinstripes, cutout vents, sharp lapels, and gold buttons engraved with Westwood’s telltale orb insignia. The piece hails from Vivienne Westwood’s spring 1994 collection, Café Society, one of the late British designer’s most revered collections. (Kate Moss, wearing barely more than a Napoleonic hat, memorably closed the show eating a chocolate-coated ice cream bar.) Hadid isn’t the only It-girl to wear a look from the 1994 collection lately: In April 2024, Zendaya promoted Challengers in London in a striped waistcoat and miniskirt with a feathered bustle from the very same offering. (Carrie Bradshaw also wore the look in a season four episode of Sex and the City.)

While Zendaya opted for a full runway look, Hadid dressed down the vintage waistcoat. She styled it with a pair of low-slung, light-wash blue jeans, which she cinched with a wide red leather belt. She color coordinated with a pair of pointy-toe red kitten heels. And given that we’re expecting to see Hadid hit the Saint Laurent runway tomorrow, it’s no surprise that the model was carrying the brand’s Jamie bag—an oversized tote in a quilted olive leather with a gold chain strap.
Between her Vivienne Westwood top, casual baggy jeans, and au courant Saint Laurent bag, let Bella Hadid serve as the model for styling prize vintage.
