It’s a kiki in the house of noughties Balenciaga. Back when the label’s Le City bag first found life under then-creative director Nicolas Ghesquière in 2001, the it-accessory was toted by the Olsen twins, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Kate Moss. It’s enjoyed a revival in recent years, spotted slung over the arms of Bella Hadid (just this week), Kaia Gerber, and Dua Lipa, with Paloma Elsesser and Devon Lee Carlson among those starring in the brand’s latest campaigns for the carry-all du jour. Keke Palmer took her own out for a spin—and what goes well with vintage Balenciaga? Well, more vintage Balenciaga.
The actor headed out in Studio City, Los Angeles for dinner with the cast of her upcoming series, The Burbs. Palmer, styled by Molly Dickson, wore a furry collared vest from Balenciaga’s fall winter 2007 ready-to-wear-collection. It features a leather and suede body, with a cinched waist, and double buckled belt. Palmer paired it with a black Le City bag, sheer tights, and red-bottomed, Christian Louboutin stilettos.
