[Warning: The following contains spoiler from the season three finale of The Traitors.]

Oops, Britney Haynes did it again.

What did she do again? Betray Danielle Reyes, of course. The Traitors picked up directly after last week’s cliffhanger, showing Haynes had voted to banish Reyes. Haynes was recruited by her former Big Brother Reindeer Games frenemy to become a Traitor in an ultimatum at the beginning of the show’s penultimate episode. The pair had started the season on a rough note due to Reyes feeling she had been betrayed by Haynes during their season of the Big Brother spinoff and grew closer throughout the season.

“Wow, you did it to me again,” Reyes said to the roundtable after it was revealed Haynes had, in her eyes, once again betrayed her. Haynes, now the only Traitor left, instantly broke down in tears while the remaining players — Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey, Dolores Catania, Ivar Mountbatten — erupted in cheers.

The seer, a game twist introduced in the last episode, was finally announced following Reyes’ departure. The designation allows one player, chosen based on the result’s of the last episode’s challenge, to invite another player to a secret meeting where the latter must disclose whether or they’re a Traitor. Great news for the Faithfuls, but tragically for them, it went to Haynes. The Traitor picked Windey as the player to join her for a candlelight dinner and, in a moment of good game play, Haynes truthfully told the rest of the players that the former Bachelorette was a Faithful.

Efron, who surprisingly emerged as a leader throughout the season, floated the idea that both Haynes and Windey could be Traitors. Meanwhile, Haynes realized that he is onto her and attempted to pit the Faithfuls against Efron. The gang headed out their final mission – finding $25,000 worth of gold and a collection of classic cars at a neighboring estate (which one, they have to find out). While they easily found the money and returned to their own Scottish castle with the cars and money, host Alan Cumming adds a twist; they must all get buckled into harnesses and dangle from a helicopter while throwing the bags of money at a ring of fire for them to count as double its amount towards the prize pot.

Following the challenge, which added $37,500 to the final prize pot, tensions were high in the castle ahead of the final roundtable of the season; banishments would only end once everyone decides that they trust their fellow players. “If you’re a Traitor, I’m gonna fucking kill you,” Catania told Efron ahead of the vote.

The final roundtable started with, unsurprisingly, a bit of chaos. Windey immediately thanked Haynes for not throwing her under the bus after the seer; Mountbatten went for Catania and she returned his suspicion; Efron announced he’d be voting for Haynes, who flipped it back onto him. Haynes quickly tried to get the table against Efron. Ultimately, Haynes was banished by her fellow players. The group was then taken to the fire of truth where they were given a choice – banish again, if anyone suspects a Traitor might be amongst them, or end the game.

Each player spoke about what it might mean to them if they win. Windey noticeably suggested she might marry her girlfriend if they were to win – the pair announced this week they got married in January – which leads to the group’s final decision at the fire of truth. In true dramatic Traitors fashion, Cumming threw their answers into a fire pit that would turn green if they chose to end the game.

Luckily, the players all chose green. The Faithfuls were successful and officially the The Traitors season three winners. The cheers of their win were seemingly nothing compared to the cheers of the gang finding out Haynes was in fact, a Traitor.

“I wouldn’t have wanted to end with anybody else,” Catania said. “We’re not leaving with money, we’re leaving with friendships.”
