Zoë Kravitz is still a big little fan of ex Channing Tatum.

In fact, the Big Little Lies actress—who directed her former fiancé in the 2024 thriller Blink Twice before their breakup in October—harbors no ill will toward Channing, telling Elle in an interview published Feb. 25, “I care for him very much.”

In fact, Zoë is very much looking forward to the next phase of his career.

“He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him,” the actress shared. “He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”

And while the former couple parted ways just months after the film’s release, the split didn’t sour Zoë’s perception of her directorial debut—or its muse.

“Not at all,” she insisted. “I love this thing that we made together.”

She continued, “I’m so happy that all of it happened. I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”
